Is God calling me to be a Franciscan associate?

Who is an associate?
An Associate is a person who wishes to respond to Gospel values through formal commitment with the Sisters of St. Francis for a specific period of time, while still living out her/his own unique personal lifestyle (i.e. marriage, single life, career, home, hobbies). The associate shares in the spirit of the Franciscan congregation, not as a vowed member, but in association with the congregation for the purpose of personal and spiritual growth through the sharing of prayer, community and/or ministry and charism.
What are the requirements to become an associate?
a) An associate relationship is open to men and women who desire to share in the life of the Sisters of St. Francis. b) Associates should have the willingness and the ability to support the congregational goals and mission. c) Associates live independently in response to the lifestyle to which they have been called.

d) Associates hold values compatible with the spirit and mission of the Sisters of St. Francis.

e) Associates must maintain all of her/his own financial and legal responsibilities.

How can I become an associate?

2) Acceptance
3) One year preparation
4) Three year commitment (renewable)
